Now that your basic framework is created, you can begin adding your own unique content, loading products and developing selling strategies to highlight your brand and products for potential customers.
For your convenience, we’ve populated some of your standard pages with tips and instructions to help you get set up. Click through the links to read our ideas and recommendations for these key pages.
Remember - These are just suggestions, we’ve designed our platform to be as flexible as possible, your only limit is your own creativity. As we couldn’t include all of our functionality in this content, have fun and experiment, you won’t know what layout works best for you until you try it.
General Information:
- While you can delete the pages and content we’ve provided, do not delete the index (home) page. This is your main landing page and if you delete it, your visitors will see an error message when they first arrive to your store. Replace our content with your own when you’re ready to create this page.
- As you are getting your store set up, you will change menu names, items, content and the general layout of your storefront. You may find it helpful to leave these default pages on your on your backend as a reference until you’re comfortable with our system.
- You are able to feature the same menu items in different navigational bars. For example you can highlight your contact information in the top navigation as well as in the footer.
An Important Note on Shipping & Returns - In order to have your Shipping & Returns Page link to the logo in the upper right of the screen, you must title the url name: shipping-and-returns; otherwise your store will display an error message. Click on the Shipping & Returns link to learn more.
